How history is recorded
Snapshots preserve what the public API showed when checked. Changes are observed between checks; brief changes between checks can be missed. The map is assembled from region observations taken at slightly different times. Zone shapes are reconstructed from public base positions using nearest-base geometry; they are not surveyed front lines or proof of troop presence.
