Reader selection is automatic.

Open the full map after sharing to set an anchor.

Checked: use the normal map (M) to learn visible structures and select destinations. Unchecked: use Secure Map (N). “Share structures” only lets this local session use them for navigation; nothing is uploaded or shared with other players. Turning it off clears learned structures and destinations.

Everything comes from the shared screen. No image uploads.

Live screen and diagnostics Reader areas are automatic
  1. Share the screen or window running Foxhole.
  2. Open the M or N map according to Share structures. Press Space to center on yourself. No area selection is required.
  3. The tool watches the full-screen map, the minimap at bottom left and coordinate text at bottom right.

Map guidance follows Share structures. The app cannot verify which in-game map mode you opened.

Arrow direction unavailable · Speed not confirmed.

No readings yet.

No boxes to draw. Outlines in this preview show the areas the tool is reading automatically. The visible map interface selects the reader. A full-map legend pauses the minimap reader, even if location matching fails. Keep the legend visible during this test. Screen-size changes update these areas automatically.

Coordinate text reader

The local text reader starts with screen sharing and watches the bottom-right area, including when neither map is visible. This is the intended coordinate fallback on foot. If its files fail to download, retry below. Recognized grid text is still only a candidate; grid-to-atlas calibration is not implemented, so its USED light stays off.

Testing recorder

Off by default. When enabled, the last 12 samples include shared-screen frames, reader crops, detected icons and matching results. They stay in this browser after the session ends until you clear them. They are never uploaded automatically. Download the recording and attach it in chat if you want it analyzed.

Samples can include visible game chat and intelligence. Review what you choose to share.

Click a learned structure on the atlas, or choose Set destination below. Destinations remain in this tab only. Position identifies a region and normalized location in the built-in atlas. Structure overlays are recognized by shape and green, white or blue color, then masked out of terrain comparison. Structures learned from your confirmed full-map views can corroborate or recover minimap positioning when at least three form a unique arrangement. Learned locations expire after ten minutes unless observed again. Full-map recognition has been replayed against a supplied test recording. The full map establishes an anchor. The minimap then searches nearby native-resolution hex tiles, including their borders. An amber estimated position can bridge up to eight seconds of lost terrain using a confident arrow direction and confirmed signed speed from the top-right HUD (top-left fallback). Negative speed moves opposite the arrow; absent speed prevents projection. Estimates never count as visual fixes. Actual PC capture and wider minimap recognition still need validation; the minimap may be seen without supplying a position. Rotation, icons, land-only views and similar terrain can prevent matching. Green requires two recent consistent visual readings; fixes expire after five seconds. There is no turn guidance yet.

Structure and resource icon catalog Official map artwork · all three colors

Fixed structures, resources, player-built objects, mobile icons and legacy artwork are identified separately. Only supported stationary structures and resources are learned as location references. Mobile and legacy icons are excluded. Similar or incomplete shapes may be reported as unclassified icons.
